At Cougar Swim Schools we have created a bright and positive learning environment for children and adults. We take swim lessons seriously - we've made our reputation providing the finest swimming instruction in the valley. Our goal is not only to teach children and adults to swim, but to help them develop an understanding of the water. We also believe that swimmers should progress at their own pace, and classes are kept small with a maximum of four participants to a class. Each student is treated individually, and he or she receives one-on-one attention from our caring and experienced instructors.

.

All of  the Cougar Swim School instructors are certified lifeguards and professionally trained as swim instructors. Our creative methods of instruction help students of any level become more comfortable in the water, promoting overall confidence and self-esteem.

.

The Cougar Swim School is committed to professional swim lessons within a nurturing, fun environment. Our program for infants and toddlers uses a unique, gentle, personal teaching method. We feel progress and ability are individually achieved. Instruction in our program ranges from our specialized classes for infants and toddlers to training for those wanting to develop stroke technique in preparation for swim teams. Regardless of the level, our instructors guide students to attain their best while enjoying the sport of swimming and having fun.

.

In order to stay abreast of the most progressive teaching techniques, the Cougar Swim School staff attends continuing education classes. Our entire staff has certifications in CPR and First Aid. We work diligently on staff development in order to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

.

The Cougar Swim School adheres to guidelines established by The United States Swim School Association. We are members of The United States Swim School Association, World Aquatic Babies Congress, and Swim For Life Foundation, a non-profit foundation which promotes the Safer 3 Program.
